In just one week, the average price of refined indium and crude indium has risen to 120 yuan / kg. Among them, the average price of refined indium has increased from 920yuan / kg to 1040 yuan / kg, and the average price of crude indium has increased from 850yuan / kg to 970yuan / kg. As of today, the price of refined indium on SMM official website is 1030-1050 yuan / kg, the average price is 50 yuan / kg higher than yesterday, and the average price of crude indium is 50 yuan / kg higher than yesterday.

Indium prices, which had been stable for a long time, are now on an upward trend, making buyers' cautious state begin to change, market inquiries begin to increase, and trading activity as a whole begins to rise.

Looking back last week, the indium market price first stabilized and then rose, and the overall market price was stable in the first half of the week, but the supply and demand pattern has begun to change, and many manufacturers intend to start selling up prices.

It is not clear whether this rally can be sustained, as the final demand for indium still comes mainly from foreign orders, while its main consumers are the United States, Japan, the European Union, China, Taiwan and South Korea. At present, the number of new confirmed cases in the United States is beginning to decline, and the economy is showing signs of picking up. However, some analysts believe that although the US economy has shown signs of recovery recently, due to the rebound of the epidemic in many states, the economy may be hit hard by the epidemic again. Federal Reserve Chairman Colin Powell said a few days ago that the prospects for US economic recovery are "highly uncertain."
